Friends of PACC Recognized with Three 2026 Readers' Choice Honors

Seven years in a row, our community has voted us Best Non-Profit and this year, two more honors came alongside it.

Friends of Pima Animal Care Center has once again been named Best Non-Profit in the Arizona Daily Star Readers' Choice Awards, for our seventh consecutive year receiving this honor.

This year also brought two firsts. The Tucson Subaru Pets of Pima Parade & Friends of PACC Festival was included in the Readers' Choice Awards' Best Local Event/Festival category for the first time and was recognized there as well. Friends of PACC was also honored with the Shining Star Award, a distinct recognition chosen by a panel of judges rather than by reader vote, for our impact on the community.

None of this happens without the people behind it. Every adoption, every donation, every volunteer hour, and every vote helps create brighter futures for pets and people in Pima County. We are proud to stand alongside Pima Animal Care Center and our partners in this work, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who voted for us and to the panel that recognized our Shining Star honor.
