For decades, families on Pima County’s east side have lacked convenient access to pet adoption services. Friends of Pima Animal Care Center is rallying our community to help launch the Eastside PACC Adoption Center (EPAC).

Why This New Adoption Site Matters

With a projected opening in the first quarter of 2026, the Eastside PACC Adoption Center at Broadway & Kolb will make pet adoption more accessible for thousands of families while easing crowding at the main shelter. The 5,382-square-foot space will accommodate up to 50 pets at a time and is expected to support 2,000–2,400 adoptions each year.

By providing a calmer, low-stress environment where pets can meet adopters, the new site will help families find the right match and help pets get home faster—benefiting animals and people across all of Pima County.
