Parking & Transportation:

The area around the Parade and Festival will be busy. Several streets, including 6th Ave, 6th St, 7th St, and a portion of 4th Ave, will be closed before and during the event. Plan ahead for how to arrive in the area most effectively.

Sun Link will run throughout the event and allow people to ride with leashed animals from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. the day of the Parade. Sunlink is free to ride. The University & 3rd Ave stop provides the closest access to Parade staging, while the 4th Ave & 7th St stop is closest to the finish line and Festival.

If driving to the event, Tucson High School Animal Rescue Group offers parking at their campus lot at 6th St & 2nd Ave for $5—the parking fee is donated to Friends of PACC. The lot opens at 8:30 a.m. and closes at 2:30 p.m. Additional parking is available on the streets surrounding the Parade area. Be watchful for areas that require ‘24-hour enforceable’ parking permits.

If you need to drop off someone for the Parade, it’s advisable to do so at the corner of 1st St and 5th Ave or 1st St and 7th Ave.
